Join us for a Thanksgiving meal in an American home!

November 21-26.

Each year, we provide the opportunity for international students to partake in a Thanksgiving meal with an American family in their home. Our students and host homes always enjoy their time sharing this holiday together and getting to know one another. If you would like to have a fun, immersive, and authentic cultural experience, we definitely recommend signing up to be hosted in a welcoming home for Thanksgiving. Our hosts look forward to meeting you!

We have ten different homes who are hosting meals. Please note that when you register, you should signify as many options that would work for you so that we can make the best effort to match as many people as possible to homes. Also, please make sure that you plan to attend if you register. If you are unable to attend, please let your host know as soon as possible so that food and opportunities for others to attend are not wasted.

An international student, when asked what they enjoyed most about their Thanksgiving experiences:

“I enjoyed learning the history of the Thanksgiving celebration in the States, trying all the different types of foods, sharing and hearing about what people are thankful for. Last but not least, meeting internationals and locals, as well as learning about their cultures and backgrounds.”
